      Michael John Binnell, Sr. passed away at home, with family at his side, on November 27, 2011 in San Bernardino, Ca. where he resided his entire life.  He is survived by his wife Nancy of 41 years, his three children Liz, Mike Jr. his wife Rochelle, and Craig, and four grandchildren, Danielle, Mikey, Bailey, Chasen, and his sister Patti Bridenbaker.  Mike served 30 years with the California Highway Patrol.  He enjoyed taking family trips, boating and waterskiing, loved to ride his Harley Davidson and sharing the word of God with others.  A memorial service was held December 1, 2011 at the Calvary Chapel in San Bernardino.

Allen Lee Bliss

 

ALLEN LEE BLISS (AL) Age 69, a resident of Cherry Valley, formerly of Bloomington, passed away February 15, 2010, in Fontana. He married Loran Kay Reid in 1965, in Las Vegas, NV. He graduated from San Bernardino High School, and received an AA at San Bernardino Valley College. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1964, served on USS Klondike Radioman-2, he was a San Bernardino County Deputy Sheriff from 1974 to 2000, Fontana & Yucaipa Stations, Sheriffs Posse Coordinator 1975 to 1991. He enjoyed shooting trap, he coached Bloomington Little League for 25 years, liked golfing & horses. Allen is survived by his brother, Gerald Duane Bliss; children, Mark Bliss, Rene Sokol & husband, David, Glen White and wife, Kelly; Grandchildren, Mark Bliss Jr., Jason Sokol, McKenzie, Josh & Trevor White. Preceded in death by his wife, Loran Kay Reid, died Jun e 16, 1999, and son, Mark Allen. Allen was laid to rest at the  Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Bloomington Little League, Attn: Jason Buell, President, 18752 Buckskin Drive, Bloomington, CA 92316 or International Footprint Assoc. Chapter 67, P.O. Box 49, San Bernardino, CA 92402-0049.
